How does it work
Our passive RFID tags contain a number. This number is transmitted to the TROMR8 when the tag comes within range of the reader antenna. The tag number read dictates which relay(s) to turn on.
The tags can be placed temporarily on your product during manufacturing or permanently embedded. They can be hidden in carrier sheets or totes and still be readable. Paint, dirt, oil, water, plastics, etc. do not affect them. Many of our tags can withstand high temperatures and extreme environments.
The TROMR8 is simple yet powerful. Your settings, stored in an EEPROM, allow the relays to be programmed as one-shot, momentary (with programmable delays), always on, etc. Tags can be preprogrammed or learned. In RS485 mode, up to 32 TROMR8 can be connected to a single cable up to 4,000 feet long.
Your products can now carry their own assembly instructions.   With multiple RFID Programmable Relay Controllers, components can be routed from work cell to work cell automatically, creating a complex, flexible assembly line.
